Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Reisen Event Planners. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, website, and all event planning engagements with us. By hiring our services or browsing our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Client" refers to any individual or entity requesting services from Reisen Event Planners.

  • "Services" include event planning, coordination, management, equipment hire, consultation, and any other offerings provided by Reisen Event Planners.

2. Booking and Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of at least 50% is required to confirm any event booking.

  • The remaining balance must be settled no later than 7 days before the event date.

  • Payments can be made via M-Pesa, bank transfer, or other approved methods.

  • Quotations are valid for 14 days from the date issued.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 30 days or more before the event will receive a partial refund (excluding the non-refundable deposit).

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Postponements are subject to availability and must be communicated in writing.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide all necessary details, including venue access, guest count, preferences, and timelines.

  • Any changes must be communicated at least 7 days in advance of the event.

  • The client is responsible for obtaining any required permits or venue permissions unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Force Majeure

Reisen Event Planners shall not be held liable for delays or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or pandemics.

6. Use of Photos and Videos

Reisen Event Planners reserves the right to use photos or videos of the event for marketing purposes, unless the client requests otherwise in writing before the event.

7. Equipment Hire and Damages

  • All equipment provided (e.g., sound systems, tents, booths) must be returned in the same condition as delivered.

  • Clients will be held responsible for any damage or loss of equipment during the event.

8. Limitation of Liability

While we take every measure to ensure the success of your event, Reisen Event Planners is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services.

9. Confidentiality

Any sensitive information shared by the client will be treated with strict confidentiality and will not be disclosed to third parties without consent.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
